BIA Foundation is based on three plinths in order to accomplish its goals: Compassion, Meditation, and Wisdom. The intricacy between these three is such that one is incomplete without the others.

Compassion is the humanitarian activity which at present at BIA Foundation includes helping underprivileged people. Such is being performed at The Sertshang Orphanage Home in Nepal, My Peace Music Institute in India, Yushu Tibetan Medicine Institute in Tibet and diverse institutes in Nepal. In these institutions, differently abled and under-privileged are trained and taught to work with an aim to sustain their own living.

    Dear BIA team,

I’m working for the organization Himalaya Projekt e.V. (www.himalyaprojekt.org) and I’m in Nepal now to help. Our main focus is to find sponsors for children and small monks in Kathmandu, Upper Mustang, Sherpa Land and Pokhara. For this reason we are not able to help where it is necessary but we have to focus on our projects. I will leave Kathmandu on Thursday.
    But !!!
I’m so impressed of your work here in Nepal and the way you work is the way I like to work, see what’s to do and do it. For this year my time budget is at zero but I’m loking to my activities in future.
Something about my background, I’m Buddhist and my root Lama is Lama Ole Nydhal, my lineage Lama is Karmapa Thaye Dorje.
To improve my Dharma activity in the future I would like to become a BIA member.
My professional background: I’m master of business administration and my main skills are organization, optimization and controlling. Of course I’m open to do everything that is useful for others.

    Affectionate Regards from Svayambhu
    Guido
