Sertshang orphanage home was founded by Chogyal Rinpoche and his father Tashi La in 2002 and officially recognized by government of Nepal in 2004. From the beginning, Brigitta Niederhauser has been selflessly providing support in every manner possible. Along with that, the support from Austria and Germany SOH associations has made this orphanage home to operate continuously. This orphanage has been providing food, shelter and quality education to all children. Here, we have 52 children aged 2-19 and this home is managed by Methok Lama with total of 6 teachers & staffs.
