Rural Education Support is another initiative aimed at enhancing the quality of education in remote areas of Nepal. The BIA Foundation collaborates with two schools: Melamchi Gyan School and Helambu Bodhisattva Model School. These rural areas typically have limited educational resources, resulting in more than half of the students failing to progress to high school each year. One of the main reasons for this is the scarcity of skilled teachers willing to work in village areas, often due to poor working conditions and low salaries. The BIA Rural Education Support Project addresses this challenge by providing skilled teachers and necessary resources, covering all associated expenses.
